Visitor's Guide

We believe that visitors are important to the healing process, and we encourage family and friends to visit. All patients who wish to may see visitors and receive calls. The direct phone number to the patient's room is posted on the patient's phone or the receptionist may transfer your call.

Finding Your Patient

Patients are asked at time of admission if they want their name placed on the registry. If so, their name is made available to visitors, pastors and callers. Receptionists can help you find your patient's room and phone number. A reception desk is located in the lobby of the main entrance to the hospital. If you enter through another entrance, feel free to ask for directions from any staff member. All hospital staff wear name tags so they are easy to identify.

To contact a patient at Melham Medical Center, please call the main operator at (308) 872-4100. Your call will be redirected to the Nurses Station after 5:00 P.M.
